Bespoke Products: A New Development Paradigm

Who is Bespoke for?

Any organisation which would like to use coaching as a way of supporting a change agenda.

Most change designs rely on a series of one off events. Coach in a Box provides a different tool that is guaranteed to increase the 'on the ground' impact of your change programme. Designed specifically to meet your needs, used on its own or in conjunction with other development events, Coach in a Box can provide the backbone of a your change agenda.

"A European Value Set"

Following a pan-european integration of different businesses, Valliant Group set out to build a unified and high performing culture over three years and against three core values. The Vaillant Group senior managers were invited to be part of a three year Management Development Programme during which they would focus, each year, on one of their three core values; Agility, Leadership and Relationships. The carefully designed leadership programme combined an annual two day experiential workshop supported by an ongoing tailored Coach in a Box product structured to bring each value into the working life of each of the managers. Every manager works with the same Coach and Specialist throughout this three year programme providing a uniquely powerful development journey.

"Within a short time the managers had developed a rapport with their coaches, and I have seen a wave of energy and passion created amongst the senior team as a result of the structured and personal coaching that they are receiving. As a team, we are witnessing positive changes in behaviour such as a greater willingness to experiment whilst seeking to drive improvements to the business. The programme has helped to develop a supportive culture and align behaviour behind a single vision"

"Leading Transformation in Education"

For most heads, running a school is a big challenge and, yet, some of the most innovative ideas in education require schools to work together. The Innovation Unit (until recently part of the DFES) has been using a version of our Spark product to help some of the most forward looking heads influence change in their wider locality.

"The potential of Coach in a Box as a tool to support school leaders is huge - and its reception by leaders in the Innovation Unit's Next Practice programmes endorses it. A number have described it as having a transformational effect. In terms of flexibility of use and cost, it could have been tailor-made for educational use."

"Supporting budding entrepreneurs in Scotland"

Starting a business is an emotional roller coaster ride. It makes big demands on our self-confidence and our ability to keep going. Working in Partnership with NESTA, whose aim is to transform the UK's capacity for innovation, Coach in a Box has designed a bespoke product which supports budding entrepreneurs to turn their commercial ideas into fledgling, innovative businesses, whilst keeping their energy in tact.

"CiaB has been uniquely important for me by providing not just an outlet for intimate business problems, but a constructive and trustworthy dialogue which, over the course of four months, has given me the clarity to sustain my business in the short and (I hope) long term. "
