How is Lead used?

There is often a big difference between managing ourselves and leading others. Moving into your first people management position can be a daunting experience as you become responsible for the performance of your team as well as yourself. We will help you avoid the inevitable pitfalls when managing others for example how do you find the balance between building warm relationships whilst still establishing your authority or hold responsibility for the output of your team but find a way of achieving it (to your standards) through others. First line managers play a critical role in all organisations, this product provides you with the opportunity to provide them with some quality external coaching to bring out the best in them.

Step Two: Mastering the Transition This step will look at how you behave, how you deliver those difficult messages and how to lead without getting sucked into the detail |
Coach calls A call to work on your own confidence levels whilst making the personal transition and a second call to explore particular issues which you may be struggling with |

Step Three: Leading Others How do you get the best from your team? This step looks at the challenge of leading others both as individuals and as a team and offers a simple toolkit of ideas to help with this |
